MOBILE MEDICAL
Mobile Medical Corporation has recently developed an online "collection facility locator" to assist members in finding convenient testing locations. Please check their website at: www.mobmed.com for testing sites, hours of operation, and addresses.
TWIC CARD
As of September 2008, due to new homeland security rules, anyone working at the Valero Refinery in Delaware City, DE will need to have a TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Card). Eventually, all designated facilities along the Delaware River will require a TWIC Card. If you have not signed up for your TWIC Card, we urge you to register today at the Port of Wilmington. You may pre-enroll at the following web-site www.tsa.gov/twic or you can call 1-866-347-8942 for more information.
The cost of the TWIC Card is $132.50 and can only be paid by Credit Card (visa/mastercard), money order, or certified check. (THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS.)
BENEFIT PLAN UPDATE
As of the last newsletter, the Philadelphia District Council sent out letter in December 2007 in reference to any medical testing (medical imaging, cardiology, laboratory, or pathology testing, etc). Please contact the Health Care solutions Corporation at 800-655-8125, BEFORE you receive any testing from a testing facility.
